Refund/Cancellation & Shipping Policy

Shipping

  • At The Fat Cookie Chef we take great care in delivering your products to you. We have partnered with Blue Dart & Smarter Logistics. We ship all over India where a courier service is available, which means we may not be able to deliver to certain pincodes.
  • We offer free shipping on pre-paid orders above Rs. 1000.  A shipping charge of Rs.100 is levied on order amounts below RS. 1000.
  • Orders are shipped within 2 days. There is no dispatch on Sundays and on national holidays. Orders placed after 8 am on Saturdays will be dispatched on Monday. Orders Placed before 5 Pm will be dispatched the next day. Orders will be Delivered with 1-2 working days
  • An email will be sent with tracking details once the order is shipped.

 

Exchanges and returns are only allowed in the following unlikely cases:

  • Packets that have live or dead weevils or where the product has gone bad at the time of delivery.
  • Packets that are torn, not sealed properly or have been re-packed by the courier partner. Don’t accept the same at the time of delivery.
  • Products have expired by the time of delivery.

Proof of bill, original packaging and images must be provided at the time of exchange. Once used, products will be ineligible for exchange or return.

Cancellation 

  • An order cancellation request will be accepted only if the product has not yet been shipped by us.
  • If the request for cancellation is accepted, you are entitled to get a refund of the entire amount.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order placed due to various reasons including but not limited to, the non-availability of stock, pricing errors, informational errors or problems identified with the personal/financial details provided by the customer.

Refunds and Replacements

  • We’re so sorry your order didn’t arrive in perfect condition! Please share pictures with us so we can understand what went wrong to process your refund or replacement request. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • To start a return, you can contact us at hello@thefatcookiechef.com  after which you will be required to send the package to the address shared by us.
  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
  • The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new products

Damages and issues

  • Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us at hello@thefatcookiechef.com immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong product so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
